Speaking before a small gathering of local business leaders and wealthy campaign donors, Florida Senate hopeful Jeb Bush blasted New York Governor David Patterson’s selection of former first daughter Caroline Kennedy to replace former first lady Hillary Clinton in the United States Senate.

Seeking to strike a populist tone with a receptive audience of Florida fat cats, Bush proclaimed the need for “fresh new faces” and “fresh new ideas” in Washington, D.C. as he formally announced the launching of his own Senate bid to replace retiring Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL).

“Our Founding Fathers never intended for our governing bodies to be run by a multi-generational handful of elitist Democrat families” said Bush, himself both a brother and a son to former U.S. Presidents. Bush vowed to devote his Senate campaign to end “the incestuous culture of nepotism that grips our national politics”, accusing the Clinton, Kennedy and Biden families of bequeathing power to their kin through questionable means.

Citing the miserable failure that was the John Quincy Adams presidency as a recent example of political primogeniture run amok, Bush warned against the dire consequences of America backsliding into a monarchy.

“The presence of such an oppresive ruling class in America threatens to undermind our most vital social and financial institutions, create a climate of economic chaos for working families, tarnish our image abroad and invite hostility from every corner of the globe” Bush told his audience at the $1,500 plate fundraiser held in his honor. Bush proclaimed if elected to serve the Sunshine State, America would not lose its standing in the world. “Not on my families’ watch.”

May the Bush regime simply fade into a forgotten blackness, similar to that experienced as a result of severe head trauma.
